PROJECT DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS

The expandable gate which spanned the tenancy opening of 7000mm wide x 3700mm high achieves lock up through a series of intermediate up/down locks which provide seamless security without the need for any removeable floor track. A further unique advantage of this overhead door system is the absence of any requirement for overhead headroom.

GENERAL

ATDC has installed its flexible and versatile folding security gates commercial S08 curved folding security door to secure the 7500mm wide curved benchtop at the reception counter to the Burnie Arts Function Centre at Burnie in Tasmania

.PROJECT DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS

The folding security gate was able to traverse the special radius curve of this countertop and was also able to accommodate the differing heights of the countertop. Security was achieved through a series of intermediate up/down locks which provided seamless lock up without the need for any removeable floor track. A further unique advantage of this overhead door system is the absence of any requirement for overhead headroom.

ATDC has installed one of its markets leading accordion doors ( https://www.trellisdoors.com.au/product/commercial-security/folding-doors-and-shop-doors/fc1-folding-closures ) to secure the large retail tenancy for Connor at Coffs Harbour in New South Wales

PRODUCT DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS.

This natural anodized 8500mm wide x 3000mm high door was manufactured from heavy duty extruded aluminum sections. The door curtain comprised 300mm wide stacking panels and was a clear polycarbonate infill which maximizes through visibility.

A series of intermediate up/down locking mechanism allows for a seamless finished product that requires no floor track, no removeable mullions and virtually no headroom

The accordion door followed the curvature of the angled tenancy line through two (2) X  90-degree curves to a 600mm standard radius.

Project managers for this installation were Tuggerah based Nu Shoppe Fitouts.

ATDC’s premium grade safety barriers (https://www.trellisdoors.com.au/product/commercial-security/safety-barriers-s04-1dd ) are being installed to secure entryways to an increasing number of government transport hubs where high pedestrian foot traffic requires entry gates with certain unique safety features.

Typical such applications include securing the entries to railway stations, ferry wharves, airport terminals and bus depots, many of these buildings also having heritage facades which need to preserve a certain appearance.

ATDC has recently completed an installation of its safety barriers at two recent NSW State Government railway station upgrades, namely at Sydney’s Central Railway Station and also at St Mary’s Railway Station.

Product Design Specifications

The stylish and elegantly designed security gate installed on the project is a massive 11000mm wide x 3000mm high and is precision engineered using rigid tubular steel sections and it is one of the most effective of the trellis door style gates currently available. Key-switch operation provides security for the restaurant by restricting the personnel which have access control to the premises.
