These folding doors have a minimal visual impact on the aperture that is being secured since they require no headroom, no floor track and no removeable mullions along the span. When trading begins for the day they fold sideways completely out of the way.

The fully framed steel S06 security door with its triple contact lock is proving increasingly popular for this type of application. This system folds out of the way and out of sight so as to be almost invisible during trade however provides a formidable deterrent when locked up and closed. As an extra deterrent and to achieve a more secure installation these gates can be fitted with their floor tracks recessed below the finished floor line.

Options for emergency egress locking can be adapted to these doors in many instances where the application requires this feature.

ATDC has installed its transparent RS7 roller shutter to a very large store front at the new Mad Mex store which recently opened at Stanhope Gardens, in Sydney.

Mad Mex is a multinational chain of Mexican fast-food restaurants.

The very wide shopfront opening is secured by a single electric operated roller shutter 6500mm wide x 3200mm high. It has a midrail installed in the centre of the shutter curtain which provides extra stability, and two (2) high quality Omega key switches were installed as an extra security control and loss prevention tool. Shutters spanning such a wide frontage in a single unit are not recommended for external installations.

ATDC has installed its premium grade FC1 folding doors to secure the storefront for iconic global casual wear clothing brand, Uniqlo’s store at Melbourne Emporium in Lonsdale Street in the city’s CBD.

Painted in a sleek white powder coated finish and with the door curtain containing perforated mesh infills, this large size door was designed to suit an opening of 8 metres in width and nearly 4 metres in height. Locking is through a series of seamless up/down locking mechanisms that engage simultaneously into receivers in both the top track and floor.

ATDC has installed its aesthetically appealing security shutter to the storefront of the new Axl+Co by Connor retail outlet at Macarthur Square in Campbelltown in Sydney.

Axl+Co ‘S parent brand Connor is a leading retail menswear chain with over 180 stores in Australia and 6 shops in New Zealand.

ATDC has installed a large electrically operated security shutter more than 5 metres wide and nearly 4 metres high on this project. Finished in a natural anodised coating and with toughened extruded aluminium sections and linkages, the installation included 2 key switches for extra security and for access control purposes to the premises.

The job has managed by LSC Shopfitting based in Burleigh Heads near the Gold Coast in Queensland.

ATDC has recently installed 12 (twelve) of its RS9 security shutters to this sports facility which is operated by Canterbury -Bankstown local council at Panania in New South Wales.

The Project managers were Sydney based SDL Project Solutions.

The natural anodized finished roller security shutters on this project are all manually operated with counter-balanced springs and key lockable bottom rails and all with the roller drums concealed inside slimline pelmet boxes.

ATDC’s security mobile trellis doors have been installed at the entry to multiple Tipwell bays for Cleanaway’s Resource Recovery Centres in QLD, both as an access control and OH+S mechanism. Cleanaway is an Australian waste management company founded in 1979.

These trackless barriers have been modified to suit this industrial environment by fitting extra heavy grade 150mm diameter bottom wheels in order to better withstand the hard-wearing nature of this application.

Lock up has been achieved with electromagnetic lock devices fitted by Cleanaway’s access control team.

ATDC’s first class folding doors installed at Mentone Life Saving Club have assisted in maintaining the incredible ocean views at this stunning location at Beach Road, Melton, Victoria.

Finished in a professional clear anodised coating in an effort to enhance the anti-corrosive qualities of this 300mm wide panel body door and fabricated from extruded aluminium sections, this door is suspended from an overhead tracking system which runs the full span of the openings.

ATDC has installed two folding counter top doors at this location to secure both the kitchen and the bar area and in both cases the door folds back to the side and out of the way to leave an unobstructed opening span.
