Ventilated Commercial Roller Shutters
ATDC’s latest product innovation combines a commercial security roller shutter with a security roller grille. This creates an appealing aesthetic design as well as provides the end user with a product that allows a high degree of ventilation.
Specs
The top and bottom third of the product incorporate a solid polycarbonate infill which allows maximum through vision yet prevents persons or dust particles from filtering through the shutter. The middle third comprises a brick-patterned punched open grille which gives the shutter its ventilation characteristics.
Capable of spanning a maximum width of 5000mm wide and a maximum height of 4500mm in one section, this quality roller shutter can be both manually or electrically operated and with either a security key switch or remote control access control features.
The Project
The project managers for this installation at Castle Hills Shopping Centre were Behe Fitouts.
Supermarkets require security shutters like other types of stores, but as you can see in the image above, our new ventilated roller shutters allow a level of airflow while protecting the stock.
This helps to ensure that the store has fresh air for customers and staff, protects the food with healthy ventilation that still protects from dust and pollution flow, and retains a transparent aesthetic all while boosting security.
The use of either manual or electric operation, with either a security key or remote control, means that all staff can be easily trained to open or close the store with minimal effort.
