Moveable Glass Walls add an open feeling while creating separate usable spaces. They allow natural light to come through while reducing sound. Operable glass partition walls are excellent in a range of environments from offices to retail shops to corporate boardrooms to school and university classrooms.
We use the Bildspec Glass Operable Wall systems which allow good see-through connection of spaces with acoustic reduction properties.
Panels are 100mm thick and constructed with double glazed 6.38mm laminated glass, (or thicker dependant on acoustic requirements) in an extruded aluminium perimeter frame with interlocking vertical stiles. Frame finishes are either natural anodised or select colour powder coat.
The Bildspec Series 100 Operable Wall was designed for applications requiring a higher acoustic rating and robust construction. Typical applications include businesses and offices; boardrooms and meeting rooms; reception centres; schools, universities, hotels, and convention centres. Bildspec 100 Series Operable Walls have been tested for their acoustic performance at CSIRO’s acoustic testing facilities in Clayton, Victoria.
We can provide walls that are rated 45Rw, 47Rw, 49Rw, and 52Rw, in accordance to AS1191. Panels are 100mm thick and constructed with two outer skins of particle board or MDF board, separated by appropriate acoustic insulation contained in an extruded aluminium perimeter frame with interlocking vertical stiles. Hanging weight is approximately 30-45kg per square metre depending on sound rating. Available in a variety of surfaces including, but not limited to Vinyl Laminates; Wood Veneers, Plastic Laminates, Painted Finishes, Textile Wallcoverings, Pinboards, Chalkboards, Magnetic White Boards etc.
