Next to the Collaroy Hotel and the beach, this Sydney location required a security door option that would protect the premises without impacting the aesthetics. At ATDC, we were more than happy to work on this project to create a bespoke security solution.

The Project

Specified by Sydney based architectural firm Akin Atelier and project managed by CWF Constructions, this clear anodised extruded aluminium roller security shutter is electrically operated with key switch operation. It has a tubular motor built into the overhead roller drum is 4000mm wide x 3000mm high. With electronic operation, this door is incredibly easy to operate for a high-traffic area.

 

Beachside Aesthetics

The Pelican Pavilion Collaroy Beach required security that would not only be reliable and functional, but not take away from the coastal, luxury aesthetic of the site. The shutters specified fit seamlessly into the pavilion, easy to use by employees and protecting the restaurant site, while allowing ventilation, see-through, and of course, rigorous security.

High End Folding Aluminium Security Doors Secures Sunreef Mooloolaba

The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) has recently installed its premium grade folding aluminium security doors to secure the training centre for Sunreef  Mooloolaba.

Sunreef is a PADI 5 Star Training Centre which offers  accredited dive courses and reef dives in the Sunshine Coast (including the ex-HMAS Brisbane) as well as internationally. It also offers international dive trips. and hires out water sports equipment.

The project managers for this installation were Hart Corporation based in Moolalaba, QLD.

Due to the proximity of the installation location to the sea, these security  doors  had to be able to survive the extreme corrosive effects of the high saline content of the surrounding marine environment. The S10 model door was the product of choice as it combines strength, style and world class corrosion resistance. One of the finest and classiest security barrier systems currently on the Australian market. A result of many years of research and development from ATDC’s design engineers.
