ATDC has installed its high-end pedestrian crowd control barriers to provide access control to both the Concourse Level and George Street level at Transit Hall Wynyard Station in Sydney.
Installation at Transit Hall Wynyard Station
Enhanced Security Features
The installation encompasses strategically positioned barriers at the entry/exit points to both the Concourse Level and George Street level, ensuring comprehensive access control throughout the station.
These trackless and relocatable barriers are engineered with seamless floor lockable devices, elevating their effectiveness in managing pedestrian flow and enhancing security measures.
By seamlessly integrating advanced locking mechanisms, ATDC’s barriers offer an extra layer of protection, contributing to a safer and more controlled environment for commuters and station personnel alike.
Architectural and Aesthetic Integration
The barriers underwent a powder-coating process, resulting in a sleek and visually appealing Matt Dark Bronze finish. This attention to detail not only enhances the barriers’ visual appeal but also ensures seamless integration with the architectural elements of the station, creating a cohesive and harmonious environment for commuters.
Collaboration with Industry Leaders
In collaboration with Architectus Sydney, ATDC’s pedestrian barriers were meticulously customised to complement the sophisticated aesthetics of the Transit Hall area.
The successful execution of the project was facilitated by ATDC’s collaboration with Multiplex Global.
Safety and Compliance Assurance
ATDC’s pedestrian barriers undergo rigorous independent audits and testing to ensure compliance with stringent safety standards and OH&S workplace regulations. By prioritising safety and compliance, ATDC provides peace of mind to stakeholders, assuring them of the reliability and effectiveness of their security solutions.

The S03™ and S06™ trellis doors passed this test by withstanding a force of 450N being applied to its locking style. i.e. the same effect as an intruder attempting to lever open our 3-point locking system.
The S03™ and S06™ trellis doors passed this test by withstanding a repeated impact force of 100 joules from a 40kg lead ball i.e. the same effect as an intruder attempting to kick his way through the security door.
The S03™ and S06™ trellis doors passed this test by withstanding a repeated pulling force of up to 2kN i.e. the same effect as an intruder attempting to pull out the security door or window.
To identify and mitigate risks to health and safety to assist in identifying safety hazards related to the supply and use of the S04-1™ mobile trackless trellis barrier.
